johpow01 744ad97445 feat(brbe): add BRBE support for NS world
This patch enables access to the branch record buffer control registers
in non-secure EL2 and EL1 using the new build option ENABLE_BRBE_FOR_NS.
It is disabled for all secure world, and cannot be used with ENABLE_RME.

This option is disabled by default, however, the FVP platform makefile
enables it for FVP builds.

Zelalem Aweke fd5da7a847 refactor(mpam): remove initialization of EL2 registers when EL2 is used
The patch removes initialization of MPAM EL2 registers when an EL2
software exists. The patch assumes the EL2 software will perform
the necessary initializations of the registers.

johpow01 dc78e62d80 feat(sme): enable SME functionality
This patch adds two new compile time options to enable SME in TF-A:
ENABLE_SME_FOR_NS and ENABLE_SME_FOR_SWD for use in non-secure and
secure worlds respectively. Setting ENABLE_SME_FOR_NS=1 will enable
SME for non-secure worlds and trap SME, SVE, and FPU/SIMD instructions
in secure context. Setting ENABLE_SME_FOR_SWD=1 will disable these
traps, but support for SME context management does not yet exist in
SPM so building with SPD=spmd will fail.

The existing ENABLE_SVE_FOR_NS and ENABLE_SVE_FOR_SWD options cannot
be used with SME as it is a superset of SVE and will enable SVE and
FPU/SIMD along with SME.

Chris Kay 68120783d6 feat(mpmm): add support for MPMM
MPMM - the Maximum Power Mitigation Mechanism - is an optional
microarchitectural feature present on some Armv9-A cores, introduced
with the Cortex-X2, Cortex-A710 and Cortex-A510 cores.

MPMM allows the SoC firmware to detect and limit high activity events
to assist in SoC processor power domain dynamic power budgeting and
limit the triggering of whole-rail (i.e. clock chopping) responses to
overcurrent conditions.

This feature is enabled via the `ENABLE_MPMM` build option.
Configuration can be done via FCONF by enabling `ENABLE_MPMM_FCONF`, or
by via the plaform-implemented `plat_mpmm_topology` function.

Chris Kay 742ca2307f feat(amu): enable per-core AMU auxiliary counters
This change makes AMU auxiliary counters configurable on a per-core
basis, controlled by `ENABLE_AMU_AUXILIARY_COUNTERS`.

Auxiliary counters can be described via the `HW_CONFIG` device tree if
the `ENABLE_AMU_FCONF` build option is enabled, or the platform must
otherwise implement the `plat_amu_topology` function.

A new phandle property for `cpu` nodes (`amu`) has been introduced to
the `HW_CONFIG` specification to allow CPUs to describe the view of
their own AMU:

```
cpu0: cpu@0 {
    ...
    amu = <&cpu0_amu>;
};
```

Multiple cores may share an `amu` handle if they implement the
same set of auxiliary counters.

AMU counters are described for one or more AMUs through the use of a new
`amus` node:

```
amus {
    cpu0_amu: amu-0 {
        #address-cells = <1>;
        #size-cells = <0>;
        counter@0 {
            reg = <0>;
            enable-at-el3;
        };
        counter@n {
            reg = <n>;
            ...
        };
    };
};
```

This structure describes the **auxiliary** (group 1) AMU counters.
Architected counters have architecturally-defined behaviour, and as
such do not require DTB entries.

These `counter` nodes support two properties:

- The `reg` property represents the counter register index.
- The presence of the `enable-at-el3` property determines whether
  the firmware should enable the counter prior to exiting EL3.

Chris Kay 1fd685a74d refactor(amu): conditionally compile auxiliary counter support
This change reduces preprocessor dependencies on the
`AMU_GROUP1_NR_COUNTERS` and `AMU_GROUP1_COUNTERS_MASK` definitions, as
these values will eventually be discovered dynamically.

In their stead, we introduce the `ENABLE_AMU_AUXILIARY_COUNTERS` build
option, which will enable support for dynamically detecting and
enabling auxiliary AMU counters.

This substantially reduces the amount of memory used by platforms that
know ahead of time that they do not have any auxiliary AMU counters.

Arunachalam Ganapathy 68ac5ed049 fix(el3_runtime): fix SVE and AMU extension enablement flags
If SVE are enabled for both Non-secure and Secure world along with AMU
extension, then it causes the TAM_BIT in CPTR_EL3 to be set upon exit

Javier Almansa Sobrino 0063dd1708 Add support for FEAT_MTPMU for Armv8.6
If FEAT_PMUv3 is implemented and PMEVTYPER<n>(_EL0).MT bit is implemented
as well, it is possible to control whether PMU counters take into account
events happening on other threads.

If FEAT_MTPMU is implemented, EL3 (or EL2) can override the MT bit
leaving it to effective state of 0 regardless of any write to it.

This patch introduces the DISABLE_MTPMU flag, which allows to diable
multithread event count from EL3 (or EL2). The flag is disabled
by default so the behavior is consistent with those architectures
that do not implement FEAT_MTPMU.

Andre Przywara b85359296c SPE: Fix feature detection
Currently the feature test for the SPE extension requires the feature
bits in the ID_AA64DFR0 register to read exactly 0b0001.
However the architecture guarantees that any values greater than 0
indicate the presence of a feature, which is what we are after in
our spe_supported() function.

Change the comparison to include all values greater than 0.

This fixes SPE support in non-secure world on implementations which
include the Scalable Vector Extension (SVE), for instance on Zeus cores.

  The new function can be used for generation of all ARMv8.3-PAuth keys
- ARMv8.3-PAuth specific code placed in `lib\extensions\pauth`.

  `save_gp_registers()` and `pauth_context_save()`;
  `restore_gp_pauth_registers()` replaces `pauth_context_restore()`
  and `restore_gp_registers()` calls.
- `restore_gp_registers_eret()` function removed with corresponding
  code placed in `el3_exit()`.
- Fixed the issue when `pauth_t pauth_ctx` structure allocated space
  for 12 uint64_t PAuth registers instead of 10 by removal of macro
  CTX_PACGAKEY_END from `include/lib/el3_runtime/aarch64/context.h`
  and assigning its value to CTX_PAUTH_REGS_END.
- Use of MODE_SP_ELX and MODE_SP_EL0 macro definitions
  in `msr	spsel` instruction instead of hard-coded values.
- Changes in documentation related to ARMv8.3-PAuth and ARMv8.5-BTI.

Alexei Fedorov 9fc59639e6 Add support for Branch Target Identification
This patch adds the functionality needed for platforms to provide
Branch Target Identification (BTI) extension, introduced to AArch64
in Armv8.5-A by adding BTI instruction used to mark valid targets
for indirect branches. The patch sets new GP bit [50] to the stage 1
Translation Table Block and Page entries to denote guarded EL3 code
pages which will cause processor to trap instructions in protected
pages trying to perform an indirect branch to any instruction other
than BTI.
BTI feature is selected by BRANCH_PROTECTION option which supersedes
the previous ENABLE_PAUTH used for Armv8.3-A Pointer Authentication
and is disabled by default. Enabling BTI requires compiler support
and was tested with GCC versions 9.0.0, 9.0.1 and 10.0.0.
The assembly macros and helpers are modified to accommodate the BTI
instruction.
This is an experimental feature.
Note. The previous ENABLE_PAUTH build option to enable PAuth in EL3
is now made as an internal flag and BRANCH_PROTECTION flag should be
used instead to enable Pointer Authentication.
Note. USE_LIBROM=1 option is currently not supported.

Antonio Nino Diaz 09d40e0e08 Sanitise includes across codebase
Enforce full include path for includes. Deprecate old paths.

The following folders inside include/lib have been left unchanged:

- include/lib/cpus/${ARCH}
- include/lib/el3_runtime/${ARCH}

The reason for this change is that having a global namespace for
includes isn't a good idea. It defeats one of the advantages of having
folders and it introduces problems that are sometimes subtle (because
you may not know the header you are actually including if there are two
of them).

For example, this patch had to be created because two headers were
called the same way: e0ea0928d5 ("Fix gpio includes of mt8173 platform
to avoid collision."). More recently, this patch has had similar
problems: 46f9b2c3a2 ("drivers: add tzc380 support").

This problem was introduced in commit 4ecca33988 ("Move include and
source files to logical locations"). At that time, there weren't too
many headers so it wasn't a real issue. However, time has shown that
this creates problems.

Platforms that want to preserve the way they include headers may add the
removed paths to PLAT_INCLUDES, but this is discouraged.

Jeenu Viswambharan 5f83591880 AArch64: Enable MPAM for lower ELs
Memory Partitioning And Monitoring is an Armv8.4 feature that enables
various memory system components and resources to define partitions.
Software running at various ELs can then assign themselves to the
desired partition to control their performance aspects.

With this patch, when ENABLE_MPAM_FOR_LOWER_ELS is set to 1, EL3 allows
lower ELs to access their own MPAM registers without trapping to EL3.
This patch however doesn't make use of partitioning in EL3; platform
initialisation code should configure and use partitions in EL3 if
required.

Jeenu Viswambharan ca6d918582 RAS: Allow individual interrupt registration
EHF currently allows for registering interrupt handlers for a defined
priority ranges. This is primarily targeted at various EL3 dispatchers
to own ranges of secure interrupt priorities in order to delegate
execution to lower ELs.

The RAS support added by earlier patches necessitates registering
handlers based on interrupt number so that error handling agents shall
receive and handle specific Error Recovery or Fault Handling interrupts
at EL3.

This patch introduces a macro, RAS_INTERRUPTS() to declare an array of
interrupt numbers and handlers. Error handling agents can use this macro
to register handlers for individual RAS interrupts. The array is
expected to be sorted in the increasing order of interrupt numbers.

As part of RAS initialisation, the list of all RAS interrupts are sorted
based on their ID so that, given an interrupt, its handler can be looked
up with a simple binary search.

For an error handling agent that wants to handle a RAS interrupt,
platform must:

  - Define PLAT_RAS_PRI to be the priority of all RAS exceptions.

  - Enumerate interrupts to have the GIC driver program individual EL3
    interrupts to the required priority range. This is required by EHF
    even before this patch.

Documentation to follow.

Jeenu Viswambharan 362599eca4 RAS: Add support for node registration
Previous patches added frameworks for handling RAS errors. This patch
introduces features that the platform can use to enumerate and iterate
RAS nodes:

  - The REGISTER_RAS_NODES() can be used to expose an array of
    ras_node_info_t structures. Each ras_node_info_t describes a RAS
    node, along with handlers for probing the node for error, and if
    did record an error, another handler to handle it.

  - The macro for_each_ras_node() can be used to iterate over the
    registered RAS nodes, probe for, and handle any errors.

The common platform EA handler has been amended using error handling
primitives introduced by both this and previous patches.

Jeenu Viswambharan 30d81c36da RAS: Add helpers to access Standard Error Records
The ARMv8 RAS Extensions introduced Standard Error Records which are a
set of standard registers through which:

  - Platform can configure RAS node policy; e.g., notification
    mechanism;

  - RAS nodes can record and expose error information for error handling
    agents.

Standard Error Records can either be accessed via. memory-mapped
or System registers. This patch adds helper functions to access
registers and fields within an error record.

Dimitris Papastamos edea5c124d aarch32: Fix multiple bugs in amu_helpers.S
AArch32 uses odd-even pairs when passing 64-bit arguments to
functions. For example in `amu_group0_cnt_write_internal()` the
second argument is a uint64_t which is passed in r2 and r3.

In `amu_group1_set_evtype_internal()` the value that needs to be
written to the system register is in r1 not in r0.
