Andreas Dannenberg 50b2f55b69 ti: k3: common: Allow customizing UART baud rate using build options
To accommodate scenarios where we want to use a UART baud rate other than
the default 115,200 allow the associated compiler definition to be set
via the K3_USART_BAUD build option by updating the platform make file.

Since the platform make file now also contains the default value (still
115,200), go ahead and remove the redundant definition from the platform
header file.

Andrew F. Davis 72f418e05f ti: k3: drivers: ti_sci: Add processor shutdown API
This is a pseudo-API command consisting of a wait processor status
command and a set device state command queued back-to-back without
waiting for the System Firmware to ACK either message.

This is needed as the K3 power down specification states the System
Firmware must wait for a processor to be in WFI/WFE before powering
it down. The current implementation of System Firmware does not provide
such a command. Also given that with PSCI the core to be shutdown is the
core that is processing the shutdown request, the core cannot itself wait
for its own WFI/WFE status. To workaround this limitation, we submit
a wait processor status command followed by the actual shutdown command.
The shutdown command will not be processed until the wait command has
finished. In this way we can continue to WFI before the wait command
status has been met or timed-out and the shutdown command is processed.

Varun Wadekar 087cf68a7f Tegra: lib: library for profiling the cold boot path
The non secure world would like to profile the boot path for
the EL3 and S-EL1 firmwares. To allow it to do that, a non-secure
DRAM region (4K) is allocated and the base address is passed to
the EL3 firmware.

This patch adds a library to allow the platform code to store the
tag:timestamp pair to the shared memory. The tegra platform code
then uses the `record` method to add timestamps.

Anthony Zhou aa64c5fb67 Tegra: fix defects flagged by MISRA Rule 10.3
MISRA Rule 10.3, the value of an expression shall not be assigned to
an object with a narrower essential type or of a different essential
type category.

The essential type of a enum member is anonymous enum, the enum member
should be casted to the right type when using it.

Both UL and ULL suffix equal to uint64_t constant in compiler
aarch64-linux-gnu-gcc, to avoid confusing, only keep U and ULL suffix
in platform code. So in some case, cast a constant to uint32_t is
necessary.

Bryan O'Donoghue c2f31c99fe warp7: io_storage: Remove DTB from FIP
Recently upstreamed changes to OP-TEE mean that it is possible for OP-TEE
to provide a DTB overlay directly to subsequent boot stages thus negating
the requirement to bundle a DTB in the FIP.

This patch switches off the dependency on the DTB in the FIP descriptor
instead we will provide the necessary data as an overlay from OP-TEE.

Igor Opaniuk eabbdafe91 rpi3: fix RPI3_PRELOADED_DTB_BASE usage
In case if `RPI3_PRELOADED_DTB_BASE` isn't defined explicitly with
proper pre-loaded DTB address, `add_define` macro defined in
`make_helpers/build_macros.mk` still supplies this definition to the
compiler like `-DRPI3_PRELOADED_DTB_BASE`, and it's obviously is set to
default value 1.

This simply leads to the wrong `MAP_NS_DTB` region definition (base_va
is set `0x1` instead of `0x00010000`) in `plat/rpi3/rpi3_common.c`:

Which causes aligment check to fail in `mmap_add_region_check()`:
VERBOSE: base_pa: 0x00000001, base_va: 0x00000001, size: 0x00010000

Antonio Nino Diaz 234bc7f88e plat/arm: Fix header dependencies
From now on, platform_def.h must include any header with definitions that
are platform-specific (like arm_def.h) and the included headers mustn't
include back platform_def.h, and shouldn't be used by other files. Only
platform_def.h should be included in other files. This will ensure that all
needed definitions are present, rather than needing to include all the
headers in all the definitions' headers just in case.

This also prevents problems like cyclic dependencies.

Since linux still uses clock set parent API to set pre_src, post_src, div2

parent index (mux select value), the value is just passed to PMU.
Functions that appear to be unused after this change is made are removed.

Setting the parent of *PLL clocks, that actually model bypass, is not
possible. This is already ensured by the existing clock model having the
CLK_SET_RATE_NO_REPARENT flag. The API also doesn't allow changing the

Antonio Nino Diaz 09d40e0e08 Sanitise includes across codebase
Enforce full include path for includes. Deprecate old paths.

The following folders inside include/lib have been left unchanged:

- include/lib/cpus/${ARCH}
- include/lib/el3_runtime/${ARCH}

The reason for this change is that having a global namespace for
includes isn't a good idea. It defeats one of the advantages of having
folders and it introduces problems that are sometimes subtle (because
you may not know the header you are actually including if there are two
of them).

For example, this patch had to be created because two headers were
called the same way: e0ea0928d5 ("Fix gpio includes of mt8173 platform
to avoid collision."). More recently, this patch has had similar
problems: 46f9b2c3a2 ("drivers: add tzc380 support").

This problem was introduced in commit 4ecca33988 ("Move include and
source files to logical locations"). At that time, there weren't too
many headers so it wasn't a real issue. However, time has shown that
this creates problems.

Platforms that want to preserve the way they include headers may add the
removed paths to PLAT_INCLUDES, but this is discouraged.

Julius Werner 985ee0b7e8 drivers/console: Link console framework code by default
This patch makes the build system link the console framework code by
default, like it already does with other common libraries (e.g. cache
helpers). This should not make a difference in practice since TF is
linked with --gc-sections, so the linker will garbage collect all
functions and data that are not referenced by any other code. Thus, if a
platform doesn't want to include console code for size reasons and
doesn't make any references to console functions, the code will not be
included in the final binary.

To avoid compatibility issues with older platform ports, only make this
change for the MULTI_CONSOLE_API.

Julius Werner 63c52d0071 plat/common/crash_console_helpers.S: Fix MULTI_CONSOLE_API support
Crash reporting via the default consoles registered by MULTI_CONSOLE_API
has been broken since commit d35cc34 (Console: Use callee-saved
registers), which was introduced to allow console drivers written in C.
It's not really possible with the current crash reporting framework to
support console drivers in C, however we should make sure that the
existing assembly drivers that do support crash reporting continue to
work through the MULTI_CONSOLE_API.

This patch fixes the problem by creating custom console_putc() and
console_flush() implementations for the crash reporting case that do not
use the stack. Platforms that want to use this feature will have to link
plat/common/aarch64/crash_console_helpers.S explicitly.

Also update the documentation to better reflect the new reality (of this
being an option rather than the expected default for most platforms).

Julius Werner b2f7c9dd80 plat/common: Remove duplication of plat_crash_console functions/stubs
Commit e74afb652 (Deprecate weak crash console functions) deprecated the
default inclusion of weak definitions for plat_crash_console functions
in plat/common/aarch64/platform_helpers.S. The code was later copied out
to plat/common/aarch64/crash_console_helpers.S so platforms can link it
explicitly if they want to. However, since deprecation does not mean
removal, the same code is also still duplicated in platform_helpers.S.

The duplicated code contains both empty stubs for the !MULTI_CONSOLE_API
case, and a real implementation that used to work but was broken by
commit d35cc34 (Console: Use callee-saved registers) for
MULTI_CONSOLE_API. It's not great to have both of these duplicated in
two files, so this patch splits them up: in platform_helpers.S we'll
only keep the empty stubs (guarded by !ERROR_DEPRECATED), which should
not regress functionality since the MULTI_CONSOLE_API implementation was
already broken anyway. In crash_console_helpers.S, we'll only keep the
MULTI_CONSOLE_API version, which is enough both as an implementation in
itself and as a sample for how to reimplement these functions in a
platform-specific file.

With the two new APIs 'plat_arm_sgi_get_platform_id' and
'plat_arm_sgi_get_config_id' that are available now, BL31 need not
depend on hw_config device tree to identify the platform. In addition
to this, the existing hardware description in hw_config can be limited
to use by BL33 and not by the operating system.

So the hardware description from hw_config dts can be moved into
nt_fw_config dts and the use of hw_config dts can be removed.

In Armada 8K DB boards, PCIe initialization can be executed only once
because PCIe reset performed during chip power on and it cannot be

This means that power on can be executed only once, when it's called

Power on:
Read bit 21 of the mode, it marks if the caller is

Power off:
Check if the comphy was already configured to PCIe, if yes,
check if the caller is bootloader, if both conditions are true
(PCIe mode and called by Linux) - skip the power-off.

In addition, fix incorrect documentation describing mode fields -
PCIe width is 3 bits, not 2.

Do not power off the CPU1 since there is no way to wake it up

Ref #13 [In power saving mode, both cores must be powered off]:
"When Core 0 is on and Core 1 is in power-off state, a Core 1
wake-up resets Core 0 as well and puts Core 0 back to ROM".

To overcome described HW bug instead of powering the CPU off, let it
reach WFI instruction, which is invoked by generic psci_do_cpu_off
function after platform handler finishes. This will put the core in low
power state and give a chance to wake it up.

Before this change, after running secondary kernel via kexec, only one
core was up, now both cores are up.

comprised only of hex digits. If only the key is specified,
the IV must additionally specified using the -iv option.
When both a key and a password are specified, the key given
with the -K option will be used and the IV generated from the
password will be taken.
It does not make much sense to specify both key and password.

This patch removes "-k 0" parameter from the encryption command
since we are already using "-K" and "-iv" for the key and IV.

Andre Przywara 793c38f0fa allwinner: power: Add DCDC6 power rail
The DCDC6 power rail is typically driving VDD_SYS in the SoC, so it is
on by default and uses the default voltage.

As there seems to be at least on board using a different voltage, add
the rail to the list of known voltage lines, so we can setup the right
voltage as early as possible.
